I've met a few people who drink 'green tea' as a daily habit without milk or sugar, and swear by it. Never got round to it but I intend to try and get it to taste nice - with milk and sugar that is.

It depends on what kind of tea you have. For a healthy stor bought tea i would say Celestial Ceaonings wellness teas good for keeping you from getting sick or helping you get better and helping heal wounds better. Some teas have vitamen suplaments wich also make them helthier. I don't know what the healthiest herbs are but I do know healthy tea does not have caffian. For a very healthy drink have an herbal tea beacuse most herbal teas have healthy herbs and no caffan.

Tea is good, but it can never replace water. Water is essential

Tea has got anti-oxidants and some minerals called trace elements which are required in minute quantities.

Antioxidants are essential to repair the damage caused by the oxidants (superoxide, negative ions) to our body cellular structures. In a way they keep you healthy and your bodily tissues young.

However, Caffeine, theophylline, theobromine which are other chemical ingredients are addictive and can cause damage.

Herbal teas are more efficient than others. Tea is more effective when taken without milk and sugar. It is recommended to take 5 cups a day

It is due to the anit oxidants in the tea itself. The best sort of tea you can drink it Green tea as it is rich in them. Though I still prefer the water myself. Haven't got the patience to wait for the water to cool down before drinking the tea.

Tea contains antioxidants which help get rid of free radicals which cause heart disease and are also linked to cancer.

Not sure if it healthier than water though. Tea is a diuretic, if you drink too much you get dehydrated.

i've never heard that, but what i think is that tea is just water with tea flavor, because when you put the tea bag in, the flavor comes out. the tea stays in the tea bag. so when the flavor comes out, i guess other nutrients come out too. but you still have the same water nutrients.

It all depends on which tea. If you drink a tea like redbush, then there isn't the drawback of caffeine, but you are still getting anti-oxidants, which benefit the body.

Who's they? Anything in excess is bad for you. But generally speaking, lots of water everyday is good for you. Lots of tea is not.
