place non_stick skillet on the burner pour approximately 1/3 cup of oil (vegetable oil) in skillet, let oil get hot then pour pancake batter ( using a ladle --a large big spoon like utensil used for dipping soup etc..) or use a very large spoon to make the pancakes the size you want.
Turn pancakes when you see bubbles all on top of the pancakes don't turn until you see the bubbles. your pancakes should be a nice golden brown.

Pancakes are all about the batter and the balance of ingredients. If the batter is too runny or too stiff, it will not cook up properly. I suggest you check the ingredients in your recipe and in particular look at amount of liquid and/or flour you are using.
Good luck, the perfect pancake awaits you!

The skillet isn't hot enough or the batter is either too watery or too thick. Don't flip the pancake until the side facing up is covered in holey bubbles. Good luck!

You're not following the recipe.
The burner's too hot.
You're cooking them too long.
You're not cooking them long enough.
You're using corn flour insted of wheat flour.
The butter is rancid.
Someone peed in the batter.
You don't have a kitchen.
The toilet bowl is NOT a good place to mix the batter.
You smell funny.

Try adding a table spoon brandy, viniger or lemon juice. Did you remember to let the batter stand before baking? your pan has to be realy hot. Oh and add a table spoon of oil into your batter. Use very little in your pan. let me know if it worked.

It could be the wrong mix, batter is too thin or thick, heat is too high or low, batter is too lumpy, batter is over beaten...could be a number of things. you have to more specific than that.
