Yes when a man get's drafted into the military he gets payed. He is NOT entitled to enlistment bonuses or re-enlistment bonuses though.
And unlike some people believe We do still have the draft but it's not active at this time. But every US MALE must sign up for the SELECTIVE SERVICE (draft) within one month of their 18th birthday.

Like was said already, there is no current draft. Yes, the draftees would get paid, and the amount would be in relation to what pay grade they hold in the service they were drafted into. As to what pay-grade they would be in, would be determined by their experience in a certain field or an education level they may hold. They are NOT treated any differently than those that enlisted voluntarily. We are all of one country, and would be silly to think that they would not get the same for the same job.

Sure they pay them. It isn't a lot but they get to sleep in a nice greenish brown sleeping bag on the cold hard ground and get at least one hot meal a day and a couple of packages of rations with enough toilet paper in them to blow one nostril. What more could you ask for. All he or she has to do is to try and not get their asp shot off protecting your little old freedom. Nothing to it really. It has been done for over 200 years already by people just like them for a whole lot less pay. Think about that tonight while you are eating a nice warm dinner and watching a movie safe and sound at home with your loved ones.

Remember now, it's not just a job it's an adventure!!

Ooh, being a draftee is way different than enlisting as a professional soldier. You'd only get "day monies" which are greater the higher your rank, that'd would not to be enough to live on (it'd equal a package of cigarettes a day), but hey the army is providing you food and all the stuff you need, and all you need the money for is really to get drunk on leave. In the case of war/draft, you'd get your cigarettes for free, when you get them.
's'true.

There is not a current draft.

But yes, everyone in the military gets paid. They do a job and they get paid. Not nearly enough, but they do get paid.

There is no draft. There hasn't been one in many years. So it's all volunteer, and if you mean "do people in the military get paid?", of course they do.

Yes of course anyone who is in the armed forces gets paid even if they aren’t active duty and are just reserve. There isn’t even currently a draft. Of course who knows it could one day be reinstated.

Our military no longer uses the draft...but if they did, then the answer would be "yes", they're paid.

Yes they do! They are payed according to their rank. Each rank has a corresponding pay grade, so that all privates are payed the same, all PFC, all Corporals, etc.
