as long as you condition a lot after coloring, you should be okay. they suggest waiting because you can "fry" your hair, split ends, brittle, or just plain dry. i believe the color boxes say to condition with the tube one week later.. i would continue to extra condition for at least 2 weeks. if you look closely also, they have conditioning color now too. it is your best bet to keep from damaging your hair. also, keep it trimmed to get rid of any split ends that may come from the chemicals... color away, you'll be fine.

You can perm your hair and color it in the same day. You can perm your hair and then use a rinse, which is just a semi perimanent that rinses out in about 28 washes. It is safe to to use right after you perm your hair.

2 weeks is the recommendation. You don't say whether or not you are going to a salon for the treatments. You should be. I made the mistake of not doing so and paid dearly with serious damage to my hair.
There are differences in perms and color for chemically treated hair. Unless you want to go through a lot of damage and recovery, go to a professional.

As long as your hair is in good condition you can color now. Just remember that the color will relax the curl some. There will be more relaxing of the curl the lighter in color you go.

Not sure but we have the same icon thingy. :)
Maybe at least 2-6. I'd wait 4 personally. Too much will dry it out.
