Yes, you should eat drink and be happy but healthy also.
Too many people are dying, having major surgeries, or living with serious illnesses that could be avoided by watching their diet.
Everything in moderation is the key.

It's ok to be concerned with a healthy weight, but I can stand all the constant weight loss questions or the how much you weigh questions.... what an ugly obsession. And then the same people obsessed with body fat go telling others that they have disgusting fetishes for boobs, or legs or whatever. How ridiculous, fat fetishers.
As long as your body type is fine, it's ok to be skinny, slim, medium, chubby, fat or obese (some people can be naturally obese and be fine). big deal.

Because obesity is a huge problem in this country. Being overweight is the cause of many fatal diseases like heart attack, stroke, Diabetes, high blood pressure and more that they are discovering. If you want to live a long time, don't get fat!

What make you happy does not always make me happy. I am happy when I can look in the mirror and see well define muscle. I cannot see it if its covered in fat. So if eating makes you happy...then eat. Looking thin and muscualar makes me happy so I am going to diet and exercise.

because society has dictated what looks "good" and not the individual. personally I agree with you. I'm on a "see food" (seafood) diet... I see food and eat it.
