I grew up mormon and this is a shock for me. I'm no longer mormon but when I read it, I actually thought of the stories of quetzcoatl or the famed alien contact billy meyer?
I've done a little research into Ufology and Mormonism and theyre ties to masonry and ancient mysteries and I think the alien connection actually gives mormonism more credit?
Anyone else agree.
Oh well.....Just a thought
Sometimes I wonder if the stories mentioned in the book of mormon happened in one of the previous cycles. You know how the Hopi and maya think this is the 5th or 6th sun. I don't know where this is going but stuff on my mind. Any comments?

It is a forgery by a non-believer.

Ahh...Just a cotton-pickin' minute, there pard. You DO know that the Salamander letter was a fraud, right? The guy who forged it (and fooled the Smithsonian with some other forgeries) is in jail for life, for killing a couple of people who were getting close to discovering his scam. I've been an active Mormon for nigh onto forty years, and this talk about aliens, the 5th sun, and "previous cycles" sounds like NOTHIN' I ever heard!

Are you talking about the aliens that live on the moon in Brigham Young's prophesies?

OK, lets give credit where credit is due....

I am Mormon, have been for over 20 years, and I have no idea what the whole salamander thing is! Are you talking about some Aztec symbolism or something? Please give an additional comment letting me know. Thanks.
