Ok, first of all... calm down! Yes, worms can present a problem, and a serious one if it goes on for a long period of time. But, most puppies have worms, it's normal; s/he is not going to die. Second of all, the two most prevalent type of worms, normally, are tapeworms... they look like little pieces of rice. And actually, what you're seeing are small segments of the large worm inside. These kind of worms come from fleas, so if it's tapeworms, then you need to use frontline or advantage. The other kind of worm is round worms; they look like long thin, spaghetti type worms.... These are generally passed on from the mother to the puppies. You can actually buy treatment for these type of worms from a pet store... The name of the medication itself is Pyrantel Pamoate... just read the ingredients of things. The treatment for tapeworms is actually best if gotten from a veterinarian. Pet stores don't really sell a good product for the treatment of tapeworms. However, your best bet is to bring a fecal sample to a local clinic, and have it tested. Then, they can tell you for sure what kind of worms the dog has, and get you the correct medication.

Please take your puppy to the Vets immediately. He/She needs to be de-wormed and given other medicines for infection.
When you took on the responsibility of be coming a Pet Parent, you should live up to that responsibility now and help your pet to get well.
If you cannot afford a Vet, please call your local animal shelter, explain the problem where money in concerned, and see if they can refer you to a Vet who will treat your puppy either with a reduction in the billing or for free.
Best of luck....Have a lovely rest of the day.

Your puppy needs to be dewormed. Puppies ar born with worms and it's cleared up with de-wormer. If your dog is old enough, it might need to go on heartworm meds, but that's not usually until they're close to a year. Get the dog to the vet for de-wormer STAT please.

My suggestion is set up a vet appointment with your local vets office and then take your puppy to the vet for a routine exam where they can worm him and give him his vaccine. they will ask you to bring in a stool sample that is fresh to check puppies stool for all sorts of parasites that are internal.
