But in my experience, I've never had an iPod that crashed on a mac. I've only ever heard stories from people with windows that have had iPod issues. And I use Office 2004 on my mac and it works just fine.
If I want to do creative stuff with video or photos I use the mac, if I just want to play a game I use a playstation. But then again, I am biased. The best thing to do is use a mac for a while and then make up your mind
