A mini-pin weighs about 12 to 18 pounds max... a full grown dobie go for about 60 to 90 pounds.... the voltage in the shock collar is probably set too high as they are based on the dogs (user) weight. And since it has an electrical charge it probably affected her nervous system in particularly her hind quarters. Keep her quiet and still. Above all call your vet. You made a mistake, it happens. Tell the truth, lying doesn't help! The truth will set you free! Hopefully you will learn something from this.

Well you must take her to the vet right away, this was a very stupid thing you did. You could have your other dogs removed from your home. It was just a puppy aka just a baby, you wouldn’t do something so mean to a human baby if it wouldn’t stop crying. Puppies bark its what they do their again just baby’s
Only a person of little intelligence wouldn’t realize that you don’t put a collar on a puppy that is designed for adult size dog.
As others have said you must tell the truth so that the vet can try to help the puppy, if possible.
If you puppy survives i would suggest giving it to a good home since you clearly don’t have the patients to deal with a puppy. Wouldn’t be surprised if you have to sign your rights over

omg that's aweful :( Those collars are so horrible, and you shouldn't lie, you should accept what you did and own up to it. Of course she wouldn't stop barking she's a puppy, that's what they do, they need to be trained properly. I'm not even going to start on the issue of using a zapping collar strong enough for an ADULT doberman on a tiny PUPPY like that ... goodness, that is messed up. Take the poor thing to the vet right away! You can't lie to the vet either or they won't know what to do to help her!

Pain punishment is a horrible way to go about teaching an animal to learn something... mini pins are SMALL, they arent like dobermans, they cant withstand even that much pain-
you should be honest with your husband about what happened and take the dog to the vet immediately, think if you were in the pup's situation.
Dogs put their trust in us to take care of them and prevent them from getting in harm's way, we're their watchful eyes- and for such, they give us unconditional love- you OWE it to your dog to fess up honestly about what you did and take her to the vet, as a responsible owner.
Perhaps afterwards, take the mini pin to a no-kill shelter instead being you obviously dont know how to care for a smaller dog that need more delicate tending to.

The shock collars made for large dogs are too strong to use on small breeds. that's why the collars come in different sizes. You need to call your vet. And lying to your husband should never be an option. This is the person you chose to spend the rest of your life with. You'll end up telling more lies to cover up the one you told in the first place, and eventually you will forget, and tell on yourself. That kind of dishonesty, even over a dog, could ruin your relationship. If he can't trust his wife, who can he trust?

First you need to get the puppy to a vet. When it comes time to explain to your husband what happened, you need to be honest. It was an accident so you've got nothing to hide.

You have lost you mind to have used that method on your dog let alone a puppy. I own 5 Pit Bulls and have never had to use anything like that on any of them!

Abuse and Lies
Great person!
Poor animals, I can save you a trip to the vet!
Just let animal control/SPCA "tell them" your location and report yourself for neurologically destroying your dobermans' spine at her neck. No need for her to suffer for your stupidy!

she may have gotten nerve damage from being set to high. take her to the vet for examinaton. it may be permanant or not. if your hubby takes it to the vet the doc will be able to tell it wasn't hit by a car so don't try that one.
