I don't hate anyone but I won't tolerate abuse or a bad attitude either, from anyone. I will put a stop to it.

You sound like just the kind of person you accuse "religious nuts" of being. You jump to conclusions and stereotype everyone you don't like. I am a Christian, I don't think atheists are satan worshipers, I certainly do not believe that the only "right religion" is Catholic. I believe there are "good" people who do not know Jesus personally, are not saved and will go to hell, because it's not being "good" that gets you to heaven. It's faith in Jesus, end of story! No one is pulling your string, why go off like that on something you obviously know nothing about?

Lol maybe you should look at what they do in another perspective and maybe then it might be it a bit easier to understand them.
First of all, it isn't just Christianity and Roman Catholicism that think they're the only ones who are right. Other religions do too.
Also, when it comes Christianity, they believe that they should "spread the good word" as part of their spirituality this entails seeing them on street corners etc. speaking in loud voices and reading out huge great passages from the New Testament.
Another thing about Christianity. Wiccans came to the UK a long time before Christianity and hold very different beliefs to Christianity. In a similar vein to the travellers from the UK to the "new world " that we now call USA who saw a tribe of native americans doing rituals they considered wrong and outlawed them, the early Christians saw what the Wiccans were doing and outlawed it. They then deemed paganism in general to be "devilish" (from what I have heard) and that is why they don't like them.
Also, if you believed in something incredibly passionately in something and someone lived in a very similar way to you but they believed the complete opposite to you and even found your passion to be offensive, wouldn't you find that just a teensy bit odd?
Well, normally, from whom I have spoken to about this subject, it is because Atheism is so completely different to what Christianity is that they are totally unable to understand it and is why they say the above.
However, ;-) having said the above I totally understand where you are coming from being Jewish myself. Please also understand that to anyone reading this, I am talking purely of fanatical Christians and not the mainstream joe bloggs off the street. Hope this helps.

I don't think the Catholics are right! They are very wrong!
So is atheist and wiccans and Satan worshipers.
Everyone is wrong. The bible is right and having a good relationship with God is important. But these big religious organizations it is all about the money.

Hate is a strong word. There is only one person I hate & hopefully I'll never see him again. Religious extremists of ANY religion are scary. Catholics think they're the only ones, Muslims think they're the only ones, Jews, Jehovahs, etc, etc etc. I agree with a guy I hear on the radio who says only "Do no harm" I would add to that, do good whenever you can. Live & let live.

God prefers fruits of the spirit rather than religious nuts...I'm a Christian, but I'm with you in the sense that people who claim to be a Christian and shove religion down your throat in the name of evangelism need a wake-up call.

I don't let others personal beliefs bother me, unless it interferes with my life.
If you are going to read religious material on here...and allow them to answer your questions...maybe you shouldn't be on here, if its such an issue.
You do have the power to block alot of the negative things that bother you. You could always surround yourself with people who think exactly like you...and completely close your mind.
Sounds like you may have some doubts in your mind.
I am not religious, but I have no problem picking their mind or reading what they say...it helps reassure what I believe in.

I just hate all people who make a big deal about religion. I mean does it really matter what religion you follow or if you follow any religion at all? Aren't we all human beings after all? Who are we to tell others in what is wrong or right???

I'm with you. I can't stand people who are so narrow minded in their own little religious worlds that they have no tolerance or understanding for the beliefs of others. You will find a lot of those people in here.

The truth is every one bilives in something . God is in you, if you bilive in yourselfe you do bilive. bilive it or not. God dose not care how you bilive or what riligion you follow. He dose not like it when othere's bush Riligion on others . For it is up to the indavidual to bilive what the feel is right for them . God is a spirit of light nothing else. You can call youself anthing .It is the same thing . I am Wiccan,! I bilive in Mothere Nature with to someone else is goods people.People have shrins, like Buda's and all othere metheds of bilife. it is all biliving in the same thing . So if you are Atheist and you do not bilive in God. or the Devil you are right, in so many ways. For the truth is hell is our lives now.We need to acomplish it . When we die we go back to the earth and become.and are spirits go to the heavens to relearn the truth and are mistak .To be nutural is okay for their you are not tanted in any way. Being a Wiccan . I know many things . and there are good and evil in all Religons that the world needs to know . Mothere earth loves us all no mater what . I do bilive that what or how we bilive, should not be shund in any way, as long as we are good to othere's and carry our own light we have the spirit in us. that is why the true name of the spirit is ,I am .So when you say, I bilive in me you bilive in the strenth you were givin. The right to bilive in yourself and that is really what it is . not a Church . We as people have are Churches in side of us, to think to ask to bilive . So to me a person that has to tell me ,that I am a sinner for not following their ways,There bilives to me is trying to find them selves .
We all need something to bilive in thouse, that cant bilive in them selves . Need a item or church or another person to do this. Basically I bilive it is something to do on a sunday friday ,what ever the bilife is. so as you are, who you are, when some one comes up to you and tells you that you are a sinner you can say to them that you are to you have just sined, buy telling me that for Riligion is exseptance of all and all bilifes . Unless they are evil dwelers then they are only dweling on the week and using negative energys to control people .They have a need to center them selves out . LMK

My wife likes them when she dresses up as a naughty catholic school girl and I play the part of Father McFeelpats. Then we have a couple of nuts she can really get down on her knees and pray to.
