I have been seeing someone for 2 months. I am a 26 year old single parent and live with my mom and he lives with a friend. We are talking about getting a place together come the new year. Is this wise?

Hi Sweety,

I know how you feel...But you know what is best for you and your child...Noone can tell you how you live your life...But do alot of planning...2 months is a short time and if your plans are for the next year perhaps use this time to get to know each other more...The only way I feel you can really get to know someone is thru time...Love at first sight are nice...But I see too many people rush into things and end up in a break up...It really depends on what you want...Also, how is your child?...Always make sure they are comfortable and will come first in your life...It's important in their life...

Well be strong girl.

What's the rush? also how well do you know each other in 2 months? especially since you are a single mom things might seem like you need to hurry and move in and scoop him up ,but i truly think it's a bad mistake. a friend of mine got engaged after knowing her man for only 4 months and she started finding out he was hiding things from her and he was still talking to old girlfriends..anyway they broke off the engagement and they were going to move in together but she changed her mind about that too she is still seeing him but they are taking things slow like you should...

I think you should be asking yourself how well do I know this person. What else do you think comes along with moving in?
Is it a step towards something bigger or just moving out of mom's house?

THAT WOULD DEPEND. DO YOU BOTH HAVE JOBS? CAN YOU AFFORD TO LIVE ON YOUR OWN? ARE YOU READY FOR A COMMITTMENT? ARE YOU IN LOVE? IS HE? DO YOU REALLY FEEL THAT YOU CANT TRUST HIM AROUND YOU CHILD? YOU REALLY NNED TO THINK LONG & HARD ABOUT THIS,ESPCIALLY WITH A CHILD INVOLVED
