Deuteronomy 31:8
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

I Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

I have a tattoo on my right arm of jesus on the cross with those two verses above/below it

i like one from 1 Machabees, i think maybe Chap. 2 vs. 60something - "and thus consider through all generations that none that trust in Him fail in strength."

i also like when Jesus said "if they do not believe Moses and the prophets, they will not believe one risen from the dead".

and in Genesis when Abraham is talking with God about how He's going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham begins a question cautiously, "Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes."

and sometimes when i don't understand the rightness of something, i remember a discussion from early in the Quran, when the angels ask God why He would give humans dominion over the Earth when they would destroy and do wickedness, and God answers, "I know things you do not."

Since I haven't been to any of the places mentioned in the Bible, I can't answer this question. But I think I would definitely prefer heaven over hell.

Dear friend, just one word of comfort from the mouth of God is sufficient for us. It would be more than enough to encourage us and give us courage.

Favorite Place is : Jerusalem

Favorite Verse : I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find Me. (Proverbs 8:17)
