YUP COZ COINCIDENCES DONT HAPPEN EVERYTIME

2006-08-24 06:49:59 · answer #1 · answered by beautiful_crystal_rose 3 · 1 0

I know that it is hard to relate to someone when they say that they believe in God because of an experience that they have had with him. Not everyone has had a huge miracle happen in their life. Many people believe, because of the everyday things that they are blessed with. These everyday things are also God's miracles at work. No, unexplained experiences are not always proof that God exists. Some of these experiences are proof that the devil exists. I do believe that there are no coincidences in life. If you really want to know God, then ask him to forgive you of your sins and ask Jesus into your heart. In your own words, just say it out loud and Jesus will come into your heart and help you to understand more and he will direct your life from that point on. You have to invite Jesus, he won't push his way in. God made us with free will, and we need to make the first step by accepting his son as our Lord and Savior. I hope this helps you. God Bless

JCLOVESME is correct about no matter what the answers you are given you may not believe and may not be open minded about the answers. Although I am not going to preach to you if he exisits or not. However I would like to say that either you believe they are signs from God or not, it's your choice. No matter how much proof a person is given they still can choose to believe or not.

My father in law doesn't believe in spirits, ghosts, psychic abilities, God, Angels, Devil, etc. Anything paranormal or religious he does not believe in. Even if a spirit appeared in front of him he would not believe it and would try to come up with a logical explanation of why it happened. He actually told me that.

So I'm not sure why you are asking a question you won't agree to the answers on. Are you looking for a religious debate? Most people have some good answers and are open minded regardless if they believe in God or not. I can't say if I believe in God or not personally, so I am an agnostic.

I believe in God but not because I say, "I know God exists because of my experiences".

I believe in God because I have faith and in my heart, I know he exists. I do not have to touch the sun to know that it would burn me. So I don't need to "see" God to know that he exists.

I'll admit that there have been times when things have been pretty dismal and seemed hopeless. So I prayed for help, support or guidance and felt better....and things turned out ok.

By the way, I think this is a great question that can generate a lot of conversation, both illogical and logical.

No, but explained ones are. The explaination is very simple, God.

All I have to do is look around me to see the evidence of His existence everywhere. It always baffles me how anyone can miss it.

Any evidence? Enough that the overwhelming majority of mankind through all of history has believed that "god" exist.

Any prove? Enough that people have have given their lives, both literally and figerativly (in service) for their belief.

Any explaination? A library of 66 books by nearly as many authors that give a 2000 year history of the revelation of God to man. Each building on the books before and foreshadowing the ones to come.

Any way to convince you? Probably not. No amount of evidence will convince someone who chooses not to see. That's why there is still a "Flat Earth Society" today.

You will be in my prayers today...

look i have been in situations that keep me on the the Side of God. I have been killed by a doctor before i was even born killed again by my own father and technically i'm not supposed to had the iq no higher than an 8 year old through lead poisoning but now i stand on my own two feet in college and getting straight a's! I'm alive and well as if nothing ever even happened to me at all. If that isn't God I have no response!

No, explained experiences are not proof of God. People just have faith. If you asked them if that is really why they believe they would say 'no.' If they say 'yes' then they are extremely confused about God, and they are probably at an infantile stage in their spiritual development. Some people never get out of that infantile stage, though.

There are always two aspects:
1) the experience
2) the interpretation of the experience
It is #2 where people go so seriously wrong believing the experience is proof of god. A self-constructed psychological crutch borne of ignorance and gullibility.

I think the reverse can be asked of you...

Being an atheist, what experiences have you had that are proof that God doesn't exist?

For each believer in whatever it is they believe, they have some sort of experience that supports their belief.

Why ask why? Just accept and believe whatever it is that you believe in.

Me? I believe I'll have another drink..........ciao

God is God no matter what our EGO thinks, believes, perceives.

Proof?

How about that old photo that you are in but have forgotten everyone else in it, that you used to know so well. And your body has grown, it has changed....
Yours is the face you cannot see for yourself, but the only one you recognize.

God is HOW you are able to BE you.

God is not separate from life.
God is Life, Love, Joy, Truth.

Just because this reality is all that you remember for now, does not prove it is all there is to life.

Your body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you are.

Blessings.

if you are asking this is because you want to believe that there is a God. you should open your hearth to the truth of God existence.
when you truly believe, you will have the experience that we believers had the first time we knew about God.
all you have to do is BELIEVE.
