back to 2 and a half a three in the last couple weeks. A Dr. did give me some Buspar,someone in my other question mentioned it,but I dont remember if he meant take it with the Xanax to help me. Am I cuttting back the xanax too fast after being on it for 16 years,I have been dizzy for over a year,but its getting worse lately where I have trouble walking or driving,I shake all the time and my right eye and right side of my face always feels weird..It sucks

Xanax, the miracle drug...I had to ween myself off of it also...but I was on a very low dose...and unless you are hospitilized, you must ween very very slowly...so slowly, that your body does not realize it is coming off of it,..or you could very easily have a seizure..the pits part of xanax...Yes, you are cutting toooo fast...please, start by if you take 4mg. a day,...if each one is 4mg, that is 16 mg a day and that is a LOT..so, what i would say, is to slowly start takind down to say, 3 1/2 of them a day...for at least two weeks...then,...down maybe another 1/2,...to 3 of them a day...for another couple of weeks...even 1/4....take a long time to get off of these please email me with more facts, and I will try to get back with you as ap...then,...you have to be ready to ween off over a few months, to be honest....but if you do it slow...it can be done...I did it...it took me about three months..and i wasn' t on nearly as much as you were...be very careful...you will have a seizure, and it sounds like that might be what is trying to happen, to be honest...or ask your doctor if you can be hospitalized, better yet where they can watch you.

oh my goodness , i'm sorry to hear that , I just started Xanax .. now i'm freaked out about taking it :( .. I really Hope that you can find something to help you.

Watch out! That is WICKED stuff. You may become EXTREMELY paranoid. Trust me, it happened to me.
