here are 2 fun pool games
Jellyfish- a sort of tag game. whoever is "it" yells "JELLYFISH" everyone else has to grab the side of the pool, Whoever gets tagged before reaching the side is now "it"

Water soccer.

Each kid has to float on a tube. There are 2 teams. The object is to get the ball to the other side of the pool. If team 1 tags team 2 while team 2 has the ball in their hand, control goes to team 1. Get to the side and make points. Then the other team gets the ball and has to get to the other side. Whoever gets to 21 first (or whatever score) wins.

Another good one for above ground pools is penny finder. Get a mess of pennies about 5 to every kid. Then you throw them in the pool and everyone dives for them. Who finds the most pennies win.

a lot of alcohol and water do no longer mixture. protection is needed so be certain that persons are not getting too inebriated. Having somebody drown isn't what every physique needs. you do no longer say how previous you all are. you do no longer say how private and secluded your pool is. you could placed cans interior the pool and make travellers dive in for them. I easily have seen themed pool events. each and every physique comes dressed for something no longer a pool occasion. I easily have seen sports-placed on, outfits and informal outfits, underclothes and underclothes or perhaps a sleepwear subject the place each and every physique got here dressed for mattress. it easily relies upon on how many travellers, how previous and how grownup you pick your occasion to be.

All of the answers you have gotten so far are great...But just keep in mind that kids will often create their own games and entertain themselves. Just keep a watch eye over them and let them have some space. They will have a blast. But do have some games in mind just in case.

well, if you are talking about grade school kids, then I would suggest playing the "colors" game in the pool, snacks, playing soccer, basketball, music on the whole time, playing with a dog, obstacle courses, relay races, or just swimming! (duh, but I've been at lots of pool parties where everyone was just content to swim the whole time!)

LOTS of music... the limbo... dance contests...volleyball...diving contests (if your pool is safe to dive in)...kareoke...LOTS of food

You dont mention their ages, but kids generally will entertain themselves if you provide enough outlets for them to do so.

Good Luck!
