The model number is nice, but which manufacturer? HP? Epson? Canon? I don't think anyone has exclusive rights to the number 1500 yet :)

You can usually download installation software & divers from the printer manufacturers website. For an HP, go to www.hp.com, select software & driver downloads, then enter the full name of your printer- i.e. LaserJet 1500, Deskjet 1500, etc.
