god can destroy man but man is already doing that so why should god bother?

The prophet Jeremiah wrote: It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step. I think man has shown how capable they are at directing man and without God's help the world of mankind is doomed. God created the earth for a purpose and will not allow man to destroy it, hence no nuclear weapon man has created will destroy what God has made. I think God will rid the world of the wicked and the righteous will possess the land just as the bible says at Pslams 37:29. (The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it)

If your referring to the future Battle of Armegedan, where the armies of the world will gather to try to defeat God. God will destroy those armies, but as for mankind as a whole, God will not destroy us, because there will be a thousand year reign after Armegedan. It's in the Bible, read it!
