Others have correctly stated that it is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter -- 22:7. However, they have also wrongly indicated that pi is an expressible decimal; it is not. Pi famously runs into ridiculous digits after the decimal point without ever (apparently) repeating itself, so others' answers that it equals 3.14 or the like are fundamentally incorrect. It is true that you can use pi to the first three or four digits after the decimal for most purposes, but if the expression were that easily stated in numerals it would not have been known for thousands of years by a Greek letter, would it?
