The ancients, Greeks and Romans, did have a type of short hand that was in use at the time of Jesus. Now, just who was taking all those notes, I have no idea. There is no way in the world His followers would remember something word for word for 30+ years. Luke went around interviewing eye-witnesses to the life of Jesus and writing it down in a scientific manner.

Jesus told them to erase the things that were to remain secrete until the proper time when they would be revealed to all of His followers and the whole world at once.

ok - this is a funny story...

Peter was with Jesus when he went down to see a group of people.

Jesus put two anchovies & a piece of bread on a plate & told everyone to eat.

As the plate was passed around - Peter saw that each individual was taking food from thier pocket to eat & not eating from the plate, then passing the plate on.

When the plate returned to Jesus - the original 2 anchovies & bread were still there untouched.

When Jesus saw the plate - still with the anchovies & bread he stated to Peter " How can this be that everyone has eaten & yet there is still food on the plate."

Peter told Jesus "It is a miracle".

Once Jesus discovered the truth - it is said that he told Peter to never speak of this again.

Clever question.

Probably kept all the good things and kept out the bad. Who knows??

Nobody will ever know the whole truth about 'life' and our world.
