They love their own words. They worship them, in fact.

Maybe because good answers to the questions being asked don't come in a short format?
Or maybe because the folks posting are trying to convince someone of their position?

I dunno!
I get tired of the short ""Teaser line"" with a question mark after it
just to find I am expected to read a 400 word diatribe before answering-- if they want an answer at all!

Maybe they have the Apostle Paul syndrome because in the scriptures when Paul after writing a pretty extended letter he will use a phrase "finally my brotheren" and write another novel thereafter. You would think that "finally my bretheren" would sum it up .... not!

Sorry about that.
I use a lot of words so I get the right message across. Spiritual things are important enough to articulate clearly.
Cheers.

Usually, it's because the questions posed aren't ones that can be answered with a short flippant answer. Those posting the questions shouldn't post them unless they want an honest, thourough answer.

Because those people believe they are sooooooo much more knowledgeable than the rest of us. They need to know how boring they are when they continuously spew their belifs on the rest of us.

some of the few honest questions asked here require more than one sentance to honestly answer. And most of the dishonest questions would require longer answers to properly refute... it seems most who ask questions here ask concerning things that do require a couple of paragraphs at least to begin to properly answer... why ask a question that you know requires detailed answer and then not read...
