Meeting new people, complete strangers can be fun. What do you do when you meet an interesting stranger and grow to like him/her, when you are totally against being romanticlly involved in a relationship started on the Internet?

Guess you need to decide where you draw the line and don't cross it.

No method of meeting quality people is invalid. Perhaps you should reevaluate your edict that you will never become involved with people you meet on the Internet. I could certainly understand it if you limit your on-line romance prospects to people in your area so that you can move from the computer to an in-person meeting. In that way, you are merely using the Internet as a way to meet someone and start an in-the-flesh romance.

Well you can do one of two things.. 1 you can trust your heart and follow through, and just hope it will some day work out, (IT HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE ALOT)..Or 2 you can figure you will never meet.. If your enjoying yourself then just keep doing what you are and have some fun..You can say alot more when there not in front of you, You may find out you like it. Have a blast... Good Luck your friend from Tennessee...ROB

I was totally against internet and phone dating, until I started talking to this guy my friend set me up with on the phone, now we talk a lot a hole lot and we love to hear each others voice and think of each other all the time. I have never met him and will not until october. My point is get to know him/her and figure it out because it could be the best thing that has ever happened to you

You have to be really careful and read between the lines. I met somone on line and we have been talking for about 1 month and 1/2 before we met. We have alot in common and we are currently still seeing each other.

Somethings you can't control...I use to date someone I met on-line and we had a great relationship. We still remain friends and we talk sometimes. (we now live in different states). Just be careful and go with your gut instinct. People always say oh don't do it..its just a fairly tale or its not real...But you won't know until you try it..Give yourself that chance...who knows it might be better than you think. But like i said be careful and use common sense...GOOD LUCK!!

Just keep in mind that they are only telling you what they want you to know. Some people are completely different online than they are in person. I know; I've met a few weirdo's in person. NOT A GOOD IDEA!

You date them. Stay away from someone with the initials JKB. He is an asshole. Learned my lesson the hard way.
