Ask your server or the nearest server to speak with the manager. Tell them all about your experience. Most managers will at the very least give you dessert for free....if not give you a discounted bill or a free meal.

Remember you're paying for a good and a service....and you should get a quality experience...so don't be afraid to speak up and share your mind....you may just get a free meal out of it....and no doubt if you get a free meal the server and or the cook will be repremanded.

,It's important to let the server know you are not happy with the food. Remember it is not the servers fault. Stay calm and tell them the meal wasn't acceptable. If you don't tell them how bad the food is, how will they ever be able to change? Usually in a good restaurant, your bill will be adjusted or they will give you another meal for free. Leaving mad with out saying something will only hurt you.

Most restaurants are owner operated. After speaking to your waiter/waitress about the service or bad food you received (and they don't take care of it) I would ask to speak to the owner/manager and tell them about your bad food/service. If you don't get anywhere with that, find a business card and write to the Better Business Bureau and complain to them.

You should complain and tell them that if you dont get what you asked for that you will not pay for the dish!

And also, ask to speak to the manager that always does the trick!
Good Luck

Ask to see the restaurant manager or the chef. Just be polity and you don't have to turn it into a slanging match.

Bit of both but don't smack anybody. First you ask what the hell they were thinking putting this sh!t on the table.

Take out your camera, take a pic and say your favorite food critic will hear about this.
