This question, by its nature, won't make you change your life. It is, however, asking, if on yahoo answers, what would happen, if you read a question, that made you stop in your mind, and think, and maybe laugh a bit, or cry a bit, and it made how you view the world change and become upside down, or at least, a completely different perspective, maybe not changing your belief, but understanding how someone could belief something different than what you have ever imagined before?

This has happened to me here on yahoo answers. I know it has happened to other people. Once in a while people read something I ask or answer and it changes them.

Have you, in your mind's eye, allowed for such a change? If so, that's addictive. If not, I pity you, you are lost. Many will know what I mean by this.

What if someone reads this question and for the first time, realizes, they don't know everything, and maybe need to be open to change. Would Socrates jump from his grave to dance for joy?

I embrace life, being turned upside down, laughing, and even crying a bit too. If something changes my life I am ready to face the challenges head first. I hope nothing that cataclysmic happens and that I can check back in a week and smile.
And I would imagine that Socrates would have loved YA!

I KNOW that I don't know everything. No one does. I like to read others' points of view with respect and a grain of salt. I have my perspective and am open to changes in it. Being here in YA has mostly solidified my atheistic stance and lessened my chances of swinging back to christianity by quite a bit. Wasn't Socrates poisoned to death for his views on the universe and how it did not fall in line with the religious beliefs of his time? But, yes several questions have sent my emotions in a whirl of some kind.

I dedicate at least half an hour to go through answers that certain people post. Some of them are hysterical. Others are enlightening. I enjoy the plants categories because we can share so much. I enjoy alternate medicines and I enjoy religious questions when they are asked intelligently. Those who portray a biggie biggie arrogance and ignorance I totally ignore.

Change is an integral part of life.. yes I allow for it.. perhaps more now than I have in the past. The ability to change and grow makes you feel alive.

Socrates would be a dancing fool :o)

No, sorry, nothing earth shattering has ever happened to me by reading something on Yahoo Answers. I have read questions that have made me stop and think, but they are few and far between. My belief in God has never faltered by reading something an atheist or agnostic has written. It's not going to happen, ever! Please have a good evening. :)

I'm always open for change and opinions of enlightened thinkers.

But sadly, I haven't come across very many "life changing" questions on here. I'm waiting though.

If more people could realize this, the world just might be a better place. However, there are some very stubborn people out there. :)

You have formally been introduced to "Enlightenment". What you do with it from here is you. Use your "Intuition" and learn to trust in yourself. Enlightenment + Intuition = Self Empowerment.
