Your question about the rosary; I really have learned over the years that it is not the rosary that brings miracles, it is the relationship you have with the Lord Jesus Christ, and in His Word, He has given us a model of a prayer, which is as you well know the Lord's Prayer, now from that we can see that He, the Lord, wants us to pray directly to Him with an open and willing heart, He created us in His Image, so He knows our petitions even before we ask, but He has given us our free will, so we invite
Him in to all our prayers and He solves our problems, heals our wounds,but then He did that at the Cross, what a Loving and Merciful God we serve, the One and Only Almighty who loves us unconditionally. All I can say is Whoopee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know for sure the exact purpose of the rosary, but if it makes you happy and does amazing things in your life than I would say that the rosary is a necessity to all who believe.

Put your faith in God and not material things. Rosary's are man-made items just like idols. Even the bible says that people who worship them will become just like them -- dead.

I feel that you should read the bible for yourself. Please understand that I am not trying to hurt your feelings but praying to anyone or anything but God Himself is not a good thing.
The rosary is a prayer to Mary who is not going to save you.
Jesus is the one who saves.
PLEASE read the bible for yourself to see the differences between Christianity and the Catholic church.
