I ate some french fries for lunch today and my throat was burning, along with the roof of my mouth:( I know this happens with allergies, especially pineapple for me, but ive eaten french fries before and it was fine... Im eating a potato smiley face and that hurts too... Any ideas?:P

Just because you weren't allergic to potatoes before doesn't mean you aren't now. People develop allergies all the time. Growing up I wasn't allergic to garlic and now I am.

If your throat and mouth hurt while eating potatoes, don't you think perhaps you should NOT eat potatoes?? If you are not careful your throat can swell closed.

Try eating some honey or drinking some warm tea... hope this helps
