That would, of course depend on the kind of injury and how far along the healing process. The only person who can answer this question adequately would be the doctor who cared for the person.

In general: Bone injury: Once healed, okay. Cartilage injury, maybe not, depends. Muscle injury, once healed, probably okay.

ive had the same experience 4 years ago. actually i got told i wouldn't walk anymore by the doctor, but i am today with no assistive devices....keep the jogging minmal...well for now....i just did some knee streches and i couldn't really walk much in the beginning because the pain would come on a matter of minutes. Keep it light....and when you don't feel much discomfort as the weeks pass by then try to jog and see how you can tolerate it.....thats what my phsyio therapist said to me

wear a knee brace, good shoes, and take breaks if you feel any pains. but yes, the key is to "work out" that knee problem slowly, maybe start with brisk walking instead..see how it goes first. if you are still unsure, try calling a local therapy office and see if they will answer you.

That seems a little too high impact. I would recommend swimming for a low impact cardio workout. Also, try using an elliptical (sp?) machine, they are great cardio and low impact.

No...I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

You'd be much better off using the arc machine at the gym, swimming, or biking.
