Is the universe created by a God, an intelligent designer, who designs every atom, and every snowflake, and every thing could be fed into a computer, and results spat out, and the God computer could tell us the results of who will answer this and what will they say.

Or did you have a choice in coming to this question and picking it, which I suppose, could be the case if you are a God believer or a non-believer.

However, 100% of non-God believers, I believe, would say that it was their choice to click on this question and answer.

What say you? Was it fate ordained by the intelligent designer, or was it a creator who made you and gave you the choice to answer this, or was it through the forces of nature you came to be where you are now, and a choice to click this question and answer.

Also, is this a question, you ask yourself, everyday? When was the last time that the answer was different for you?

I think it is mind control.

I left my aluminum foil hat at home. I can feel your brain controlling mine, telling me to answer this question.

Well, I believe that I had the choice to click on the question. I could have passed it by. However, after reading the details it then became my choice to answer it because I always read the details before making such a choice.

Very interesting second question. No I don't believe ones own freewill is always at work because everyone has freewill and any decisions they make could put one in a situation where there is only one real solution and therefore no freewill of their own. And yes nature can dictate as well.

My last situation.. having a biopsy come back precancerous and having to have a surgery. Even though I had freewill there really wasn't an option but to have the surgery and not get cancer.

I decided not to answer this question, but I am being pulled into the vortex of the answer window. Every living being makes some choices and is subject to some forces that don't allow choice. Neither thing is absolute. I did not choose to be born. One day I will die and unless I commit suicide, death will also not be my choice. I have to eat and sleep, but what I eat and when I sleep are my own choices. I have sexual feelings, but who I have sex with, when and for how long are things I can choose. The closer we are to being unintelligent animals, the fewer choices we have. The converse is also true. More intelligent humans can have a greater degree of choosing. Unless of course you get sucked into someone's personal vacuum of a question without an answer that the asker will accept.
I do wonder everyday whether people will take the opportunity and the responsibility of choosing and stop claiming that everything is fate. If you insist on looking at the issue from a religion standpoint, God gave us choice at the beginning of time and choice continues to be the main challenge of humanity when we choose whether or not to have faith.

I think I am choosing to answer, but if fate or god or whatever one wishes to believe in has preordained that I answer it, I would imagine that they would also preordain that I should feel that I am making a choice so that in fact I do as 'they' want and feel that I am doing what I want. I ask myself the same question fairly often and depending on how things are going in my life at the time, the answer can differ, but mostly I come up with the same thing.

Humans whom follow the rational of that they are the ones whom made a choice would definitely hate me. Because I believed that all this is pre- arranged by God and his messengers. I mean, I am sure that God had guide us to the acts of our day but it is us whom depicts the consequences. The way I see it, God guide me to this question to aid my fellow human in his quest for an answer. How I answer it to my best knowledge is up to me. God merely guides us to what should be done.
For me I would only answer question if I knew I have some information that would benefit the other party. I mean one should not answer a quetion with a blinds eye just for the sake of two points. Its stupid to do so coz people comes here in seek of knowledge and wisdom that others possess.
To summarized it all , yes eveything in life is predestined by God. He had set the date for our birth and our death.
May You find the knowledge you seek in the days ahead.

I believe in God, but I don't believe in destiny. I chose to answer this question. I could choose not to. I could choose to pat my head and rub my tummy right now too. If we don't have free will then God is to blame for everything, and I know that's not true.

Fate is an abstract belief designed by men to try and free themselves from responsibility for their actions.

For some people it could be destiny and some people it could be free will. It depends on if God wanted someone to get something out of it then destiny will come into play.

before I became schizophrenic the answer was that its me. Now that I have experienced that all of a sudden something happened that was out of control I think we're dependent of a higher power all the way through. In fact, I believe we don't even really control whats inside of us. Its all godgiven.
