I like the idea of parrot smuggling. I wish I would have thought of that first, I am now trying to get my Black-throated Blue Warbler smuggling business off the ground. I am finding it hard to gain a larger market share in my area. I know a guy on Crenshaw and Slauson that deals in bird smuggling, he sets up next to the guy selling incense. If you can get your smuggling business going, let me know what you did to jump start it.
What up 'Drew?

Parrot smuggling is not really worth it, financially speaking anyway. The birds are really hard to get, and of the ones you get, 75%-95% will die in transport, and then once you get them, because it is illegal to import birds and most purchasers require paperwork from breeders, and breeders are plentiful, it will be hard to find a buyer. Don't bother. You'd make more money smuggling Mexican PEOPLE into the US than you would parrots.

You should do it legally lots of birds could die when traveling if they dont have the right care and dont get checked by a vet that theyre fit to travel.
If you want to make money just breed them. You will gain alot more than you spend on them. But make sure you know what your doing and take great care of them.
Dont smuggle birds its animal crewlty and if you get caught u could get put into jail a few years

Ha ha, well just in case anyone is actually thinking of this... let me update you on the consequences. If the border Inspectors (or powers that be) catch you, they contact our store to find out the highest selling cost of that particular bird. They multiple it by 5 and thats your fine, plus automatic jail time. So for example, the average Blue and Gold Macaw will sell for about $2000. Your fine will be no less then $10,000 plus the jail time. And no breeder in the US will buy the birds from you without papers from the breeders and tags.

I don't know about where you can find parrots, but I do know where you can find parrot smugglers.
Try the Federal "bed and breakfast" nearest you.

for the sake of parrots, I hope you're just kidding... if you're not, there's a word for people like you, besides jerk/idiot/a$$hole, and it's "animal abuser" -- and smuggling is illegal, whether it's animals, dope or people...

Grab a brain moron. Don't send your life down the drain by engaging in illegal activities. You are asking for trouble, not advice.
