Always been barely A cup. Breastfed and now they are small again, with a few stretch marks. THE WORST PART IS now the only part that makes them look full is where they hang down. I look like a fat man who lost 100 lbs. I lost all the baby weight and worked hard at that but still so insecure about my body because of these pancake boobs. (sorry was just explaining why this has to be done) Never had any surgeries, are there any suggestions you have about surgery, finding a doctor, what to expect??? Thanks for any answers (asking again and again hoping for more answers)

in our "modern day" surgeries are getting much easier. Laser and all. any time you have surgery there are risks. if you have breathing problems..or sleeping problems and they have to give you anesthetic, they may have you on life support. (ventilator) it takes a while to get back off of this, because you have to be fully awake to get the tubes out. your surgical staff will consist of : doctor, anesthesiologist, nurses (2 or more) and probably 3 or 4 surgical technicians.
The surgeon will tell you about all of the risks and why, during your first consultation. depending on the surgery, it could take from 30 min - 4hrs (for total surgical procedure) you have prep time, and recovery is normally 1hr after surgery. you could stay overnight after also, unless it is classified as "day surgery". then you go home after recovery. start with your family doctor, talk to him/her about the possibility of surgery. the surgeons usually require referrals from your family doc anyway, so it wouldn't hurt to run it by them first. if you don't have a family doctor, then I would suggest talking to at least 2 different surgeons (for the "2ND" opinion) then pick who you feel most comfortable with.

I'd worry about an incompent doctor. Do your homework and make sure your surgeon is a good one.
