How old does a kid have to be before they go from a carseat to a booster seat? Does weight matter, if so whats the weight?

It's based on height and weight, as well as age. Every state has unique rules.

it goes by weight and height but every state is different and i know Utah is very hard on people who don't use a car seat or booster. I think 70 pounds and 4'7" is time for a booster, people that short drive so maybe they should use a booster

you mean from a booster seat to a carseat...right? i think it's up to 6yrs old for booster then rest is carseat.

here you go! find your state and it spells it out pretty good. it's always good to know the laws of the states around you, too in case you travel.

as far as weight/height issues from carseat to booster is dependant on the limits of the carseat or booster.

6 yrs old is a proper age to remove car seat. weight does matter though atleast 95lbs.

most kids between the ages of 4-8

40 lbs age doesn't matter

they whave to be 4or3 feet 8 inches, i think and 60 pounds i think i hoped i helped
