why do people make fun of people who are hearing inpared?

i have parents who can not hear and i dont think that its right for people to make fun of them they are just like us damn hearing people they just cant hear so whats up with that any one got an answer for that i dont think ya do

because they do not understand what it is like being hard of hearing, they think people with hard of hearing and deaf can not hear the rude remark.
I am deaf myself but I do wear hearing aids and I just ignor them if I suspect them making fun of me.
It can be hard to do, but that is the best way to handle rude people.

Because the people that make fun of hearing imparied folks are stupid and ignorant fools. Maybe some day they will have hearing problems too. I am hearing impaired. I worked around noisy machinery for many years and I have 80% loss in one ear and 90% loss in the other so I know exactly where your coming from.

People in the United States should be more tolerant toward folks with disabilities and I am not just speaking about hearing impaired. What gives them the right to make fun of older people, or people who look different, or folks with disabilities? Believe me, God's wrath will come down on these so called human beings.

People grow up and get a life and stop abusing everything around you. I am sorry to tell you there is not much hope for mankind.

hello dear,i dont think it is something to worry about.after all, people who hear very well are also made fun of.But to answer ur question, it is stack ignorance that makes such people to do so. Ur parents may be inpared in hearing, but they "HEAR/UNDERSTAND" you when u speak.yes , i believe they do.
Again, those people may not actually have 'parents': if you understand what the word PARENTS means.
when one dont have regard 4 his/her mother &/or father, its obvious he/she, dont have a parent.Or should i say he/she dont see them as one.BELOVED, give ur parents all the loveand care, when u can.U call them parents, they would remain ur parents.PEACE!

Because people are mean and like to make fun of people who are different. Just remember that the people who are teasing are probably doing it because there is something really wrong with them that they're just trying to overcompensate for.

Not everyone make fun of hearing impaired people, only the ignorant one's do. What do u do to ignorant people, try to educate them. If you can't educate them, just ignore them.

Many people have a sadistic side to their personality and they are not adequately educated. Plainly speaking, such people, who laugh at other people's weaknesses, are ill-mannered (to say the least). hmm. Maybe you live in an area with lots of nasty people? I've never run across that problem, and my dad is hearing impared. I'd just yell at that. Better to embarass the people who deserve it for being jerks.
