the point I am trying to make is that, we see alot of beauties in the world,we enjoy them, we want them.
have you ever thought where did all the beauties come from?
where is the source.?
please dont say beauties are relative
because every normal human being see a squirrel as a beautiful being. nd every normal human being loves to hear a bird singing. because they remind us of him( the source of all beauties),and they invite us to go back to heavens.
When we see the true beauties here and there ,we remember them deep in our heart, thats why we love them.
because all the beauties are just a weak shadow of God.and we want to get closer to the source.,they invite us.
Note that the ugliness is just the lack of beauty, it is not a real thing, like coldness is not a different energy it is just the lack of heat.so there is no source of ugliness , darkness ..
it is just when we get far from God(his commands/our true nature that God put inside us) we see ugliness.

Actually, many people don't regard squirrels as beautiful... they view them as pesky, fuzzy-tailed rats. And 'beauty' is an abstract concept... not a 'thing', as you imply. Further, beauty and ugliness are linked, as a 'dualistic' concept, in the yin/yang sense... neither one can (abstractly) 'exist' without the other, and neither one can be defined, except in terms of the other. Finally, beauty has no intrinsic value whatsoever... it is merely a 'judgement', and as such, it is a SUBJECTIVE result that depends ENTIRELY upon the values and criteria of the person doing the judging.

Your thinking lacks discriminatory power and sophistication.

Anyway... what serves you as a substitute for logic and reason is a logical fallacy (a flaw in thinking) known as the "Argument From Incredulity"... which is a sub-category of the "Argument ad Ignorantiam" (Argument From Ignorance). It goes something like this: "I can't conceive of how this might have come to be; therefore, God did it."

That does not represent a limitation of nature... it represents a limitation of knowledge or intellect. Also, it is intellectually dishonest, since it does not ACKNOWLEDGE the limitation of knowledge or intellect... it merely invokes the fanciful idea of a supernatural creator-entity to manifest the ILLUSION that cognitive dissonance has been resolved. It substitutes 'faith' for fact, and 'belief' for knowledge... but neither faith nor belief are sufficient to sustain reason... they are only sufficient to sustain willful ignorance.

That is the epitome of self-delusion.

I'm an atheist and I see incredible beauty in the natural world. I disagree that you have to be religious to see beauty and that a lack of religion causes one to see ugliness. Some of the best, kindest, happiest people I know are nonreligious.

We do not believe that your god made these things. *shrug* We don't have to think the world is ugly to not believe in your god. We have differant beliefs than you, deal with it.
