Because we know that any problem we have is not too large for God to handle. And not only can God handle it, but he WILL if we ask.

The answer is faith.

You know nothing of the Christian faith, right?
Murder and suicide are both sins. You cannot commit either and get into heaven. So Christains cannot kill themselves or each other and expect to enter the pearly gates.
Depending on what sect of Christianity you want to look at it is even harder to get into heaven. Some sects believe that you have to do numerous goodworks to redeem your "original sin" while others believe that God has prechosen those who will be saved and nothing anyone does will change that.

So i suggest that before you pose your next religious question you do a little research, unless you want some nutbars to go apeshit on your ***.

Because we are here for a reason. And obviously we are not here to kill ourselves. And that will send us to Hell. How come Christians are the only ones who get ****** on? There are other things out there too. I sometimes wish I weren't but then again, I'd not go to Heaven.

because God uses each and every one of us to help other people, to strengthen both our faith and theirs. God is the one who decides when we go, and it is only when our duties are carried out that it happens. Who would want to sit here all their life and do nothing to help anyone else? Especially when you could be the one to help turn a hell bound soul into a believer. The truth is we all have a specific call upon our life. God has a purpose for each of us. We have a responsibility to answer that call by obediently following Him, no matter what the consequences.
When a church body takes the Great commission seriously, God opens amazing doors of opportunity. As we follow His lead rather than our own preferences, we will witness the incredible results of faith in action. "go therefore and make deciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you..." (Matthew 28:19-20)

I know that I am going to live with Lord after I die. Yet, I don't welcome death. Aren't we all afraid of what causes our death, not the death itself? Besides, family and friends is enough reason to stick around. Isn't it? I am just curious, Steve p ( the guy above me), than are you against the death penalty too? Obviously you are.

lol, suicide is going to be the answer.

I think you should define suicide.

Like is starving yourself and going on a hunger strike partial suicide.

Is suicide a one-way street that takes only one step?

Can you knowingly provoke somebody and have god deem the end result as being suicide?

When you kill yourself, you're not around to ask God for forgiveness?
