By 'cheat' I'm assuming you mean sexual infidelity? If all the single people out there weren't sleeping around like rabbits, where would the opportunity for cheating be? I swear, I'd like to see just a few people who don't drop their pants every time a person of the opposite gender walks by.
Hey, let's try this: guys and gals date, learn a lot about each other, find their true love, get married, and THEN start having sex. Within their vows. Within the bonds of marriage.
See, people seem to think that marriage somehow closes a door and ends their possibilities of finding sexual satisfaction. If your heart and mind are in the right place, just the opposite is true. Marriage FREES you to drop your defenses, to open your heart, to be totally vulnerable to your mate in a way that no hookup ever could. It should REMOVE the fear that the person you're banging is banging someone else, and therefore you don't have to hold back some part of yourself just in case you get shafted.
If people would save themselves for marriage and then be totally committed to their mates, we would be one big bunch of happy f***ers, that's the truth.
Now before all you married guys not getting enough crucify me, I will admit that there are times in a marriage, particularly after kids come along, where you're not going to get as much as you want. Well grow up. Communicate with your spouse. Get your needs and expectations out on the table. She might surprise you.
I've been married 27 years. We've had ups and downs, sure. But the sex we're having these days is 100x better than what we even had when we were first married. Not more frequent, I'll give you that, but more satisfying and more amazing.
And guess what? No cheating!

Cheating is caused by many things. Here are my reasons:
1. The man has lost intrest in the relationship and doesn't know how to tell the girl he's with.
This happens many times when the man is not a total asshole, and doesn't want to hurt the girl he's with, but still realizes that he doesn't really want to be in that relationship.
2. The Guy wants to see if his relationship is the best one.
The cheating relationship could have dynamically started unpurposely or may have started with the guy thinking, " I may not get this next girl, so I better hang on to the girl I'm with just in case". This kind of thinking is pretty smart if you ask me, but guys do it stupidly and get caught.
If you are going to cheat, trying to figure out where you wanna be, do it respectfully so that the other person doesn't find out (yes, yes, I know this is wrong, but let's be real).
3. The girl is too clingy!
When the girl is too clingy, the man may want to get the hell away. By doing this, he may gravitate to another relationship.
4. The guy is just an ***.
Yes, I have to concede that the guy may just be an asshole. He might not have any idea of what being in a monogomous relationship means, and might just want to sleep around. Oh well.
and finally...
5. The guy will cheat as to get rid of the girl he's with.
Yes, he may be cheating on you on purpose so that you deliberately find out and dump him, because he doesn't have the balls to do it himself.
There is a double standard in all this, sorry to say. In general girls cheat for different reasons, but that's another post!

Guys and Girls both cheat, Even if they think they have found who they want to be with. The real question is why are you with someone if you are going to cheat on them?

Guy cheat on there girl because the girl they are with not giving what they want.But guys are naturally dumb and cam not make up there mind.Think of a guy as an *** they will never learn one thing.

well there could be a number of reasons ..one he doesnt care about the one hes cheating on..two the one hes cheating on isnt satisfing him..three his upbringin..and four hes just not ready to settle down wich probably should have been one..lol.
needless to say cheating is never the way to go if a person is even thinkin about it they should NOT be in a relationship. and if they are in a relationship they should break it off cause even if the "cheater" thinks he or she wont get caught he or she will eventually.

Because even if they love a girl with all their heart, they always want to have sex with other girls. They don't have any control on their sexual desires. But I know sexual attraction itself is not cheating if you don't do anything. But for most guys if they have the chance to have sex with another girl without getting caught they will definitely cheat on their girlfriend.

guys cheat on girls because they have a male ego that they need to fill and up hold. guys think that if they have more than one girl that they are the man when in actuality, they are seen as whores. guys cheat because they don't know any better and they don't know the good thing they have until its gone

1. It makes people feel powerful and attractive to have a lot going on in their sex lives, and a lot of people who want them. - More notches on the ol' belt.
2. People are afraid of committment, so they avoid it by cheating. Then, at least in their own heads, they have not committed, or have beaten the system.
3. Intoxication and bad judgement.
4. Egotism
5. indifference (or lack of love)
6. Poor moral character/ liar

i think it's because guys are on a never-ending quest to spread their seed far and wide, and after an 8 month relationship, you tend to get bored with your lovelife and want to try new things and if the situation presents itself there isn't much that you can do to stop it
MOST guys would feel remorse and guilt and sadness and killmenow for cheating, but there are some asses who just do it to show off because they have no comittment either way and deserve to be dumped and harrangued
