Who knows, but many in society are...so if you want a interracial relationship just be prepared.

They will be probably for another 100 years or so perhaps. The world is becoming more tolerable but you have to be aware that if you chose to be in a relationship where you have two different CULTURES then you must be aware that people will talk and the especiallly the old people. Young people today are much more tolerable and as we age tolerance will obviously grow, but you will always have the bigots and the prejudiced.
BUT please if you remember nothing else I say here today remember this and tell everyone you know.. YOU are not an interacial couple!!! WHY? Because we ARE ALL ONE RACE!! The HUMAN race and until people quit using the term/word race, racism, and interacial people will not accept this fact that we are all HUMAN!! Good LUCK and stick with it and don't take smack from people and just ignore them because when you give them attention when they say something it proves their point..that all those people are ignorant..SO just IGNORE them!!

I'm so fed up with this discussion it still rumbles on and on, i am in an interacial relationship, as ive said before i am a Latino with an Italian partner, and i have come to the conclusion that it really isn't anyones buisness who is with who, love conquers all thats what i know.

BEING ENVY & IGNORANT ! I'm interacial & my gf is White & love each other, but everyone, including our best friends are not easy with it & try to break us up, but it makes us stronger & more in love.
When people see a white with a black/coloured, they become jealous & think, " what's so special in them to be together & not date their own race".
Similar example : if u date a rich guy, all ur girlfriend would be jealous of u & think why u so better than them for a rich to date u & not them" ! IGNORE the IGNORANT !!!

There will always be people who discriminate against anything that is different from the way they were brought up. Hopefully they are not raising their children to act the same way but unfortunately I think a lot of them are. It will take a long time before society changes. It has come along way but it still has a long way to go.

Because my daughter was involved with a black.. a real piece of trash and a drug dealer... and I never want to see her child again or her... When I see an interracial couple I WANT TO VOMIT.

I'm not. My opinion is this- Whether you be black, white, brown, yellow, male or female to find love in this type of chaotic world we live in is a miracle and a blessing no matter what gender or creed.

Who knows its 2006 and many scholars have predicted that eventually all races will merge. America is a great breading ground for this. I think people are just ignorant.

I don't know what's wrong with people. They need to mind their own business. As long as no one is hurting anyone, there shouldn't be a problem.

because for a long time it was unacceptable to go outside your race, it is still tough for some to get over that mentality
