If you feel the need to bug your significant others home then you are not ready to get married, he is cheating, or you are a paranoid obsessive compulsive with too many issues to discuss here. Until you first handedly see proof, hear proof, or smell proof of "cheating" don't sweat it. Relationships built on trust last longer than relationships where one or both parties are always wickedly paranoid.... but to answer your question.... buy a voice activated digital recorder and a phone interface... connect the microphone jack from the interface to the microphone jack on the recorder... the telephone feed will go through the interface and can be hidden easily. Set the recorder to voice recording and it will only record whenever the phone is being used.... if you have no home phone then just hide the recorder somewhere near the entrance.. most recorders have a variable sensitivity and will do good picking up conversation 14 - 18 feet away... good luck and hope things work out for you!

Undetectable is the key word, as you either need a recorder nearby to pickup the radio signal from the bug, or a constant connection, (ie..phone or web), with recording somewhere else.
You are better off doing the following:
1) Hire a private investigator. They can be discreet and can follow the suspect to where ever they may go.
2) Hire a marriage counselor now, because you are already off on the wrong foot.

Why would you ever marry a man if you distrust him so much? Will bugging his home help you to trust him more in the future? Will it help him to trust you more?
Do yourself, your guy, and the children that you might have a great favor and DON'T get married until you know him well enough to trust him WITHOUT 007 tactics.

You don't trust him enough if he tells you he is not cheating on you, why should you trust him enough to marry him?
It's obvious that you already have your doubts.
Also, If I were the boyfriend in question and I found out you did this, Not only would I not marry you, I'd proscecute your @$$.

If there are any, and i mean any uncertainties, don't go through with it. you'll be divorced in a year. If you suspect that he is cheating, He probably is or will do in the near future

What you are considering is illegal. Don't. If it was me and I found out, you'd lose me even I was faithful to you.
