You raise a good point. Christians say everything is created, in which case who created god? if he just exists and wasn't created then why do christians belive god created us? when surely by their rules we too could just 'exist'.

This is not a stumping question. There are none! The Bible gives answers to everything! Who made God? No one did. The Bible tells us He is infinite, meaning He always was, is and will always be. It also tells us that no one's mind can comprehend this. Which it cannot. We just accept this as fact and carry on worshiping Him as He commands us to do. God Bless all!
I can answer spamandham's question too. Time was created by God. Just as the Bible says, He created everything. That includes time.
To answer another question, people could not just exist. It isn't possible. For that we would have to be Gods and we are not. We are God's children. He created us to have something beautiful to watch and have relationships with. How sad that most choose to turn away. Can you imagine your child denying you every second. What an amazing, loving, caring, merciful and patient God He is. Praise God!!

The question that always leaves my friend at a stump sometimes is "how do one define the trinity as One without portraying each as an individual being.?"that leaves some of my christian friends thinking for a while to really gasp a good debate for the question.
Father(God)
Son(God)
Holy Ghost(God)

My question is: do you see these stumping questions as something that eliminates the validity of Christianity? Or something that merely points out that we don't know everything yet?
I think it's the latter. Personally I like that weird feeling I get in the brain when I consider these stumping questions. It's fun to come up with possible solutions and and I'm excited for the some day when I get to see how close I was.
best wishes

I like this one, but they never even try to answer it. I don't think they comprehend the problem.
"If time is part of the universe, and creation implies there was a time when the universe did not exist, then for the universe to have been created requires that there have been a time when time did not exist - a clear contradiction. How then can the universe have been created?"

who made God is a terribLe question, that's just as bad as if there's no God who made the universe.
i Like why did God need to sacrifice His son in order to forgive us?
Why couLdn't He just forgive us?
they say because the wages of sin are death, but why is that?
wouLdn't a Loving God give peopLe who are sorry for their sins a second chance without requiring someone to die?

I don't know what question always stumps a Christian...I am a Mormon.
But I can answer your question, HIS Father created Him, and His Father before Him and so on...it is too vast for our minds to comprehend. But at the same time it is also comforting to know we are children of our Heavenly Father (and Mother) who love us, each and every one of us and want the best for us - which is to return to live with them again some day!

I would like to answer those questions:
How can God be eternal and uncreated?
-It's hard for us to grasp because everything else was created. He is the only thing that wasn't. It doesn't make it impossible.
Confusing Trinity doctrine:
-The Trinity is false. Next!
Energy not being destroyed, created, etc. (laws of physics)
-The word "physics"=physical. If you believe in a spirit realm where God exists, how can physical laws apply to non-physical creatures? The laws of physics were put there by God to govern the physical realm. I'm sure there are laws governing the spiritual realm too, but they're not the same.

Mom of 2 answered this question very well.

Why couLdn't He just forgive us?

God started the Criteria of the Blood in Genesis 9: 5-6 when He was talking to Noah. Why did God require a criteria of blood? In other words why does God require blood that is to be shed?
What is its significance?
He is a God of order and justice, of mercy and love and His planned Criteria of blood would call out to all men who desired to know Him, to display their faith in God by obeying without question His demands that would reveal their unquestioning faith in Him.
The Blood of mankind is their lifeline - the difference between physical life and death. God ordained in His Criteria that men shed their blood in obedience to Him, to reveal the depth of their commitment to Him. It would not be that the man be killed but God stipulated and regulated that an animal could be the substitute for the man. Righteousness and justice would kiss each other by the Criteria of The Blood.
The need for this Criteria was that Adam disobeyed God's direct command.
Adam was circumspect (he wondered, was wary); he considered to disobey the God who had made him. Why did not God just forgive him? Why? : because Adam chose to disobey a command of God, God's own purposeful word, God's own dogmatic, everlasting, uncompromising promise, which for God Himself is unchanging; a major problem emerged. He cannot go against His own Word, based on His command.
For God had said to Adam that if he disobeyed His Command in regard to the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil …… Adam would die and heaven was closed to all mankind.
God has not changed that curse that came upon Adam, which has come down upon all ensuing mankind, because God cannot change His own Word, especially in the form of commands. As a result today mankind continues to be born into death with heaven closed to all, unless God's Criteria of the blood is applied.
Genesis 2: 15-17 John 3: 13 John 1: 29-33 1 Peter 1: 2.
For a full explanation of this go to the listed source under "Teaching" you will find Criteria of the Blood.

My question I have asked many different religious ministers, priests and such has been a BIG stumper to all of them.
With all the different religions, if a person is raised in One faith/religion and never changes his/her beliefs and does Everything that faith/religion says is needed to be done is done, and believes in life after with the Lord...Will that person still go to Heaven, even though a different religion says differently? How does one decide which one of our multi levels/types of religion is the "Correct one" for eternal redemption?
It is/can be a bit confusing, huh?
