I'm looking for a program that can create slide shows on a DVD for playing on a TV DVD player. Are there any that you can recommend?

Nero 6 Or higher with full kit.

Ulead video suite 6 or higher - has a great aray of things especially for video, Put pics are well taken care of.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 or higher -Simple and effective and you don't need to spend extra on video aspect of things.

Roxio Burning programs, Last 2 years.

-basically most burning suites if not all will have this option, the only thing that might limit you is the creative limitations of menu
sections.

-Paint shop pro.
(Last year or 2)

If i Think of anymore, I Will Update The List.

Yes! Microsoft has the updated version of Picture It!! and it has a wonderful program with it that creates wonderful picture slide shows that you can set to your own music!! Once you have it done (the slide show) you can burn it to a DVD or CD if you want to. I've done wonderful professional looking works with it.
As soon as I get home I'll get the correct name and I'll put it here...have fun with it!!!

Here it is:
Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006 and the video editing tools of Pinnacle Studio v.10.

the 'best', second most powerful slide show program that will do this is ProShow Gold V2.5 About $80 USD, A stripped down version called just ProShow is about $30 USD.

The most powerful slide show program of all? ProShow Producer around $400 USD
