Was she involved with a church or any benevelent organization? Some places have civic volunteers who call & visit shut-ins. Check with the Boston city council, etc.

YOU MIGHT CALL THE HOME NURSING ASSOCIATION....AND ASK FOR SUPPORT GROUPS MEMBERS TO VISIT...OR THE NUMBER WHERE YOU CAN CALL FOR HOME VISITS...
