you need to go to your dmv with its information. they can give you information about salvage and lien sale processes.
take the Vin # and license plate #

Actually, in some states you can claim an abandoned car as your own. You do have to contact the original owner and let them know what you are doing, but I have heard that it can be done. Check with your local or state laws to see if you definitely can.

yes, u can do it through a bonded title, which will cost about $100 or place a mechanic's lean against the auto....either way, you should have the title in about 10 days

it depends on how the previous owner left it. If they didnt turn in the title and clear it, then you would have to find the previous owner to legally get a title for it.
