I think so because their a part of that parent. If they say it is ugly that mean that they are ugly and no one will ever admit that.

it's natural for people to think that.. when i waz a child i waz crazy and would never listen to anyone.. drove my parents off the deep end... but my son is 4 and he blows me away with all he knowz and how fast he learns. and he is so very well behaved.. but it does have almost everything to do with the parents too. but ya and they need that support early in life so they wont grow up thinking there nothing and create problemz later in life

If they didn't think that they would have to tear up their membership card the the "good parent club". :-)
As parents we just need to remember that noone else is as interested in our parent/kid stories as we are. Then try to keep the stories to a minimum.

my mommy does it every time and only cause like you want confidence in ure kidd like i understand why u do it
like if ure child is ugly dont make them git their hopes up thinking tht they can git neone tht they want

I dont know if all do but I hope that more people say positive things to their children to boost their self esteem. Its so important!
