Why is the prevailing attitude in this category anti-Christian? What have they done to you that they deserve all that bullshit?

I'm not blaming anyone specifically, I'm just really curious as to why it's like this.

I'm not anti-Christian. But I am an Agnostic whi is pro gay rights, pro choice, and pro evolution. So many think that I am anti-Christian. But that isn't true. Some of my best friends are Christian.

They are fulfilling Biblical prophecy.
Mat 24:9 "Then they will hand you over for persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of My name.
Luk 6:22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you, insult you, and slander your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.
Luk 6:23 "Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! Take note--your reward is great in heaven, because this is the way their ancestors used to treat the prophets.
Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you, but it does hate Me because I testify about it--that its deeds are evil.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will accumulate teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new.
2Ti 4:4 They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths.

Besides causing many wars, preventing science from progressing, and spreading bigotry, Christians also believe that everyone else in the world will burn eternally in a lake of fire.

Thats why I come here alot. I try to be nice and helpful and give out a positive Christian attitude. I do not come here to be confrontational, but to be helpful and try to change some minds.

If looked at constructively, it is pretty balanced between Christian and non-Christian. Why does a non-Christian opinion offend the Christians so much they ask their questions like this one?

The christian religion has a superiority complex built into its beliefs. It's annoying.
