First of all the military didn't write the constitution and only a complete idiot would think you should be shot for saying this.Military intelligence is a term related to the collection of information in an effort to design the most efficient form of attack or to even decide whether an attack is even necessary. This type of intelligence gathering is vital to the success in defense or offense. This is the reason there have been great warriors throughout history and others who just go to war to be decimated. This type of thinking is so sensible that even boxers(and there not all stupid Vladimir Klitchko speaks 5 languages and has a PHD) do this by watching video of their future opponents to learn their defensive techniques and flaws. It is only war that can be argued as unintelligent not how it is waged

as far back as i can remember growing up in a military town yes mi was an oxymoron. going to college i am now getting my masters in military history. The battles that have been won, kesslesclaughts throughout the prussian empire, naploean's genius if you ever got into his battle plans, alexander the great taking over almost the entire world, hannible's forsight to use elephants when traveling through the mountains, and have you ever been up close and personal with an m1 abrams, or a chinook, a c130, nuclear weaponary, these are some of the most high tech equipment this world has seen and it's in the military. The troops we have today are not our army of the revolution who were militia and were hastiliy trained, these men and women are trained months before sent to their first duty station, then throughout their enlistment or commision they are still trained and trained hard. These guys know what they are doing they are intelligent and alot more so than most ppl you would come across.

It is NOT an oxymoron -- and in fact, the Military has HIGH Standards -- because we require it as part of the work we do. I have met so many more unintelligent folks since leaving the military and that is sad.

Actually, their intelligence is a collection of information about enemies and other persons and places of interest to them. This is saved on computers. Computer are smart. It's the user who is somewhat ill-informed.

yeah, keep dissin on the people who give you the right to the free speech you just used against them. i'd love to see you ask that question to a drill sergeant or a navy seal. give me a break with the very trite, overasked, supposedly funny--and maybe even was funny a million years ago, jokes. grow up.

I'll put my intellect that has been honed by the U.S. Air Force for the past 16 years up against your feeble brain any day, moron.
