This is submissive/excited peeing, he's scared and automatically urinates. I have a neighbor dog who does this, the only solution we've found is to move our feet out of the way.

You failed to provide whether your dog was a puppy, what sex it was & what breed it was but heres what I suggest. If your dog willfully & deliberately walks up to you & pees on your foot thats a sign of dominance. He's telling other dogs that you belong to him & that he's marked you. This behaviour is exclusive to un-neutered males & can be addressed by your local vet.Smaller breeds tend to be more excitable & have less control over their bladders due to mutation, inbreeding & overbreeding. This involves the dog rolling on it's back & releasing a few dribbles of urine when they get excited. This behaviour is harder to address but I would suggest obedience training. This ensures the safety of your dog & pride in ownership on your behalf.I've seen this behaviour in larger breeds who have been abused & will pee themselves in unfamiliar situations.Try gradually introducing your dog to new situations & praise him on his good behavour. Good luck!

I don't know if this is a dominance behavior, but it sure is inappropriate. Whenever doggie does this, make sure you discipline him right away! Stomp your foot, clap your hands at him and yell no! in a firm voice. Please don't be scared around your dog. It will give him the belief that he can get away with murder. You are the pack leader, you need to exert your dominance. I would take Fido to a basic obedience class.

It's submissive peeing. Potty him right before he goes into a new situation. You can call your vet and ask what to do, but I don't think there is any way to stop it, but I could be wrong. Good luck.

Your dog pees when excited. Make sure he is outside when he meets new people. Wear rubber shoes.

I had this issue with my Samoyed Male. My trainer told me this was his way of telling all the other dogs to back off that I was his property. So when ever we were out i just made sure I paid attention to him, watch him to see if he was "eyeing" the other dogs and he never did it again.

How funny!! and yes, it has happened to me also.. the owners of the dog were very embarrassed. Usually it is a young dog.. they see something tall and if it is a male dog (I assume it was) he will just lift his leg and do his job.

He loves you a whole lot and is marking you so others won't steal you away. Kind of a strange compliment? Hey, think of it this way, some people would pay for that!

He is marking his territory. It is a dominance thing. Get him neutered, and hopefully this will stop. Good luck.

I think your dog is scared. Ask your vet about this behavior.
