Hi is there anyone out there that can tell me about there job in massage therapy? If you are in Iowa how much does it pay and where did u go to school for it at? Also I would like to know if there are any schools for it in Iowa. In America.

I don't know about Iowa but it is big business in Houston, TX.
How much you get paid is completely dependent upon who you work for, the services you provide and your clients. From minimum wage to a really good income. Best of luck.

Generally speaking, to become a licensed massage therapist you have to go to school for at least a few months and you have to have a certain amount of hours of "hands-on" experience. In some states, they do background checks and drug testing before they will license you. Once you're licensed, you can charge whatever you like, but you have to be competitive. To give you an idea, in the Detroit area the average price for an hour massage is anywhere from $60.00 to $80.00 plus tip.
