Instead of watching a whole movie is there ways i can breakdown large files into chapters
ie
(800 mb - into 10 chapters) instead of (800 mb into one chapter)
Any video editing software that could work?

All i have is nero, is there any other software that could work, in making my own dvd's (menu's, chapter's, etc.)

you can use ULEAD DVD MOVIE FACTORY , or NERO VISION to do this and don't worry they are very easy to use

There is always a possibility that the recorder you are using to burn the DVD's will allow for that.
Otherwise, Adobe Director (fomerly Macromedia Director) will do that.
