You are asking for help. but haven't told us the problem..If your dog is having pups, and one has already come, it sounds like things are under her control..
If she takes care of them, there is nothing that you need to do, but give them a clean bed when she is through
Here you go..take a minute to read this site, and look at the pictures..> http://www.thepetcenter.com/gen/whelping.html

It takes time. If your dog has labored for an hour or so between pups, call the vet stat. She might reach a point where she is too tired to push and her pups will be still born. In fact, take the dog to the vet some time today. Preferably after you think she might be done or taking a break or if she gets too tired and you think there is still a pup in there. They can x-ray to see the position of the remaining pups (they did it to one of my dogs a few years back).
When this same dog had three of her four pups, the last one was stuck and had to be pulled out by way of a vet and a pair of gloves (not a pretty picture, but it wasn't serious enough for the vet to want to do a c-section). Keep an eye on your dog and look for signs of fatigue. Yes, she may already appear tired, birthing is very energy sucking, but you should be aware of signs of her not even trying. Make sure she cleans her pups or you'll have to do it for her with a hand towel. Call the vet regardless because they will want to have the pups and mom come in soon for a check up. Good luck and I'm sorry people are being so hard on you.

Perhaps you should consult a VET rather then asking strangers with no years in college toward veternarian school...
Personally, if something that serious was with my dog (which wouldnt be THAT, because she's spayed) I'd be on the phone with my vet, not asking people on yahoo answers!
After this labor, you definately should look into spaying you dog, I mean really- it's not that expensive- if you can afford a dog- then spaying her shouldnt be a problem at all.
As a responsible owner, you should've spayed her the minute she was age-wise and able... after these puppies, you definately should. The problem can still be solved.
She cant help getting in heat and becoming pregnant, when they're in heat, they dont even know what's going on, they just have that urge- it's not fair to make them go through that knowing they'll later go through pain in labor when they didnt have to. Plus, when spayed young, they actually live LONGER and HEALTHIER.

Hopefully she ok, but surely you would have read up on birthing knowing she was pregnant. It is rather irresponsible to not have done so. I also agree instead of coming on line you should have called your vet and advice him or her on what to do.
Giving birth is a natural process and the majority of the time they are done with no complications but sometimes things do a rise. You should defiantly take the mother and pups to the vet tomorrow or even later today to make sure they are in tip top shape.

Normally the dog will deliver the pups with no problem. Depending how long she has been going through the births. If she seems to have problems and is taking too long then contact your veterinarian. I had a dog that took four hours before all her pups were delivered but I kept watch on her. I actually had to assist in cutting the cords and helping to clean the pups. Keep her in a warm, quiet place and just be vigilant. Like I said if there seems to be a problem contact vet. Hope all goes well with mom and pups.

As long as she has a puppy every 20 minutes - 1/2 hour she will be ok. If she doesn't get on the phone to the vet ASAP.

Thats fine. You just need to be around, monitor her make sure she doesn't seem to be constantly straining with no puppy coming out. What kind of dog large or small. I have delivered a couple of litters and the dogs most of the time are just fine on their own but like i said just talk softly to her if she will let you rub her stomach or head and just keep an eye out for anything that looks like she might be in trouble.

It can take up to a half-hour between each pup. If it is taking longer and she seems to be in distress you need to take her to the vet. They may have to do an emergency C- section.

just let nature take its course. i would definetly get a hold of a vet and let them know your situation so they can be on standby. get a suction bulb ready just in case you have to suction a pups mouth. if the puppy acts to have trouble breathing then suction its mouth out. it could take up to 15-20min before the birth of the next puppy, but please call your vet so they can help

hi ya,
just be on hand in case she needs your help get some ky ready in case you have to help her deliver one of the pups and have your vets number handy but don't worry she knows what she's doing and if you have a strong bond just keep talking to her and soothing her as doggies get frightened in labour too. If she shows any signs of trouble call your vet. Good luck x
