Your 36 and she's 18? Hello, I'm 35 my husband is 36 and we have an 18 year old daughter. As the adult you need to set boundaries and the fact that you are questioning if you should pursue this is your answer! You know a man of your age has no business w/ an 18 year girl who probably is a very naive girl. Do the right thing. Dont take advantage of her. Why doesn't anyone do the right thing anymore??????

Theres nothing wrong with the age gap. Who cares, as long as you are serious and won't hurt her in any way. The only problem is the possible fall out from her aunt. If you can deal with that then why not see what happens. You only live once and who knows it may be the best thing that ever happened to you (both).

Out of all the women there are in the world, why would you choose your ex's niece?
Move on... get an adult...
18 year olds expect too much and they get really annoying...
do you want to have endless conversations about what's going on in high school?

You're old enough to be her dad! get a real woman and grow up
When I was 18, I thought anybody over 25 was a right old codger!

i would say discuss it with the aunty.
if you want the kid, then be prepared for any fallout from the family. it is your life, but please don't string the girl along and play her. at age 18, she might actually have different ideas and motives than you do.

What we want and what we can have a very different. If you have doubts dont do it. If you dont, well then have fun use protection. Make sure the aunty is ok you dating her niece tho. Dont come between family.
