A better question is: How often are Christians aware that they are helping Satan when they either attack atheists or each other?

That is exactly right. The fact they do not believe in God and his Son, Jesus Christ have themselves become devils.

Psalm 14:1 The fool [a] says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.

Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22

Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 2 John 1:7

More than that. We realize that the devil is a myth made by the church to scare people into joining so the church could get more power.

Crazie. If you read the Bible, (or even the Koran), the Devil is actually a goodie. He punishes murderers and thieves while God enjoys a good aul fashioned mass queer burning and forcing girls to marry their rapists.
If I'm anti-rape, anti gay-burning, anti drowning people, anti ending the world, anti paedophile, then yes, Satan is my friend.

The question is, does someone who don't believe in God believe in the Devil? If they don't believe in the latter then they don't know.

Do theists sometimes stop to ponder the inherent contradictions in their questions?

If one does not believe in god, one does not believe in the devil. Therefore, one would not believe they are aiding an imaginary enemy.

Think, then post.

No we don't, because we don't believe in the devil and knowledge is a justified true belief.
