You do get pushed back in your seat. It's can be fun, but you may want to try some similar experiences first. A quick jump off the line from a red light, a roller coaster, or anything that moves fast. These all have similar sensations. In the end you'll realize that the entire process is incredible safe and very exhilarating. Heck, I love flying! So enjoy your flight, and try to relax.

Also- chew on gum if the altitude messes with your ears. It does to mine.

you dont have to be scared. actually flying feels great, besides the fear. But flying is safer than driving in a car.

You feel like the plane leaves the ground, you feel the enormous force of the airplane going up, take off is best and landing too!!! you may have a bit of pressure in your ears, so it's best to take chewing gum with you or just close your nose and blow a bit, and the pressure will go away.

You'll enjoy it. If you're not alone, hold the hand of your partner. Remeber if anything should happen, it happens to everybody in the plane. Just look at other people and how self evident some of them fly, and you'll feel much better. also remember the crew does it all the time, and they dont want to crash too.

remember: crashes are RARE.

and PS: Its not as extreme as roller coaster lol, its a serious thing, it feels safer.

also, enjoy the view outside the window when you're up there!!!!

Hi, flying is pretty smooth. You may not even realise you are in the air if the pilots are smooth in their controls. Though there will be some who try to fly like a fighter aircraft and then you will feel the jerk when the plane accelerates and lift-off.

Basically taking off is a plane getting enough speed on the ground to be able to fly in the air. Once it reaches this speed, it can fly nicely in the air already. What you can do is to observe the wings. You will find that they usually are hanging down, but once the plane reach flying speed, you will see the wings actually lifting up and the plane as well! Try it, it is quite interesting. It is these wings that keeps the plane flying in the air.

You will find that flying is much nicer than sitting on a bus trip. And you get to very places in a very short time.

Its a bit like a roller coaster only with a boring bit then the landing. If your worried go to the end of the runway watch the planes taking of and observe which way they turn just after take off. Usually to the right when yours takes off keep in mind which way its going to to turn. It wont comes has a big surprise.

Just the same as accelerating quickly in a car, except a bit faster perhaps. If you don't look out the window then all you feel is a bit of a rush from the acceleration, which pushes you back in your seat, and once the plane is airborne it feels just like sitting anywhere.

Answers above and sit in the front of the plane rather than the back. The front is smoother and there is less noise from the engine and the tires.
Best Wishes!!

Ever been on a roller coaster? It is like riding the little kids roller coaster. Not really that scary, and fast.

if you mean in a jet it's not too bad, try to remember what it felt like when you first went high on a swing, sorta the same.

It's not that different from being on the ground to tell you the truth.

It's simple.
